Letters from Roz Kirby

Finally got around to digging these out of the box they had been stored in for the last 20 years. These are two letters I received from Roz Kirby talking about the Silver Surfer sketch I commissioned from Jack back in 1985. The convention was in June, and, mind you, no time was ever agreed upon for completion of the sketch. The first letter arrived about two weeks later apologizing for "How late" the piece was. Can you believe that? It had only been two weeks and already Jack felt badly about not having delivered it. I would have been okay if it had taken 3 months, not 3 weeks.

Then when I got the sketch and the second letter with it a week later, I was just totally blown away. Sure wish some of today's artists had the same moral integrity as The King.
