Description
Love Matt's reference to that "new contact type zipper". Velcro! It made it's debut in US clothing in the early 60's. Leave it to Stan to be on the cutting edge of technology! :)

I love those few early issues of Daredevil by Orlando. They were so much more, well, grittier than the usual Marvel superhero art from that era. This one has dark pipe-filled tunnels, shadowy bridges and run down train yards and docks, just about everything you could possibly want in a Daredevil page. And even Vince Colletta put in an extra minute or two on this one. (You were going to let this go?)

Although they turned over artists with each issue, those early DD stories were really memorable, and this is a particularly lovely sample from a very early issue! Great score.

Congrats on this amazing piece Craig! It is one of the best early DD paneled pieces on CAF. I will admit, I'm jealous.
