Description

When I was a kid, I wrote a letter to Eisner via Warren publishing. This was the time when they were reprinting the Spirit. Actually, I wrote a letter to the editor praising Will's work. A few weeks later, this wonderful print with original ink wash arrived in the mail. I was thrilled then, as I remain today. My first piece of art, original or not!

True, sweet nostalgia. A good story to pass on... years from now when comics are only a memory and all media is ported directly into our cranial implants.

Wow!! A great piece from one the best artists to ever grace this planet - but it's your story that really grabs me, Rob. From my childhood days of collecting comics to my current obsession with comic art, one of the reasons I love comics and all things comic-related so much is because of the wonderful people I've encountered over the years - from the fans to the creators. Your story captures the essence of our special community.
