"These penciled pages were the last pages drawn for the project. Here, Peter is thrilled to tell the lost boys that he has brought them a mother, only to fly into rage when he realizes that she has been shot down by Tootles.

The art nouveau borders are distinctive of the Neverland/ Lost Boys scenes within the context of the adaptation. The peacock feather is one of Peter's symbols used consistently through out the series and this page's layout is in the shape of the peacock feather, with the "eye" being his moment of realization.
