Description

I decided I wanted a Thing sketch from Keith Pollard to compliment the one I got from Ron Wilson. With Pollard I decided to go with the infamous "pine cone" mutated version of Ben Grimm! Pollard designed this look originally back in 1987 and it was this version of the Thing I first encountered when I began reading comics.

Joe, this is a great piece. Congrats. I think the pinecone Thing was a great choice. Pollard hit a homerun with this commission.

This brings back memories. That was an underrated era of the FF. Really great sketch.
