I cant really believe this. I got the chance to own one of my Top 5 all time favorite Covers.

Just got it in and I cant hold my breath ! You have to see a Keown in person to understand this detail !

Ive been asking Dales rep and he said it was sold long time ago, and u know, some pieces u never see on the market.

I was so sure no one would let this one go since I think it is one of Dales best pieces he has ever done in his career.

Its so creepy and detailed, u would be scared to meet these creatures in real. Sadly the Inferno series got cancelled

after issue three because of publishing problems. I would have loved to see Silvestri going on with it.

EDIT:

I just read that Top Cow's Matt Hawkins made the final announcement that Top Cow
has cleared up the legal issues surrounding Inferno and will finish the project in 2009.

Anyways Im just too happy cause I had a lot of luck since the reason, the cover has been available only,
was a baby that is on its way.

Oh and btw, this scan isn't darkened, its really looking like that.
Keown's pencils are really showing depth and arent as light as many others artists non-inked works.

Now that I have a Keown original of my own...i do understand the fantastic nature of his pencils...the way he uses dark pencils with light pencils to create depth in his drawings is amazing. Also, Dale just draws creepy-crawler type creatures so darn well. Congrats on a great piece!!!!

Love seeing Dale creating some horror here. The pencils here are so detailed, it's incredible! This cover goes to show you that Dale can draw anything!
