Birds! No wonder he needed Hawkman's help. I know some art collectors might think this page unremarkable, but it is an almost perfect example of how Gardner Fox sneaked/sprinkled scientific, historical and mythological references into his stories during the early Silver Age. Aside from all the fun but implausible hero action, it's one of the reasons I almost always enjoyed his stories when I came upon them as a kid. Cool stuff! (I wish the picture was bigger, though.)
