I remember reading the original Golden Age version in one of the old 100-Page Super Specs and it immediately became one of my favorite Batman stories (and remains so). This two-page spread from Wagner – who, in my opinion, is one of the best artists (and writers) to ever handle Batman, shows he was a perfect choice to rework the story for modern times.
