Description

Several of my close friends from college knew Jason way back when, as he grew up in Las Vegas with them, so they frequently meet at SDCC to catch up. To digress a moment, Jason was part of an early adventure we had at SDCC which ended with a moderately severe traffic violation for me. No one was hurt, though.

Anyway, I'd been pestering Jason for a sketch for a year or two at this point, and he finally (and generously, I might add) made time for me. He was part of the Naked Fat Rave at SDCC that year, and Tony Harris was sitting next to him. Someone else (I can't remember who-JH Williams 3? Tim Sale? I wish I could remember!) leaned over and mentioned to Tony that Jason was drawing Starman. Tony leans over, watches over Jason's shoulder, and says, "Dude, you suck!" and laughs at him. Jason tells him to shut up, and turns in this fantastic sketch. Sorry Tony, but I have to disagree!
