The first 6 issues of the series was titled "The Lake of Fire." Writer Dylan Horrocks described the story as one "where Tim learns that he can be a good person - even a hero. At the same time, people he cares about have taken a different path, taking incremental steps that lead them into a kind of moral trap - until they're too far gone to do anything but 'evil'." This page shows Tim returning to the temple in the middle of Ruby Lake to confront the "Red Man" who is revealed to be his friend, Josh.
