DescriptionThis beautiful Friedman painting, from 1977, saw print in the Ladies Home Journal. The painting incorporates everything that I love about Marvin's paintings, from the pencil contour lines to the patterning and linear paint strokes. It's that combination of expressiveness and representation that I love so much in work like this. Marvin has always been able to maintain a freshness in his work, which makes it seem as if the drawing or painting was just created. That feeling is readily apparent in this piece.Social/Sharing |

The sitting woman´s expression is priceless. Thinking of the future and what it may bring? Wonderful colours and composition.
