Gene Yang did an in-store signing at Big Planet Comics in Bethesda, MD on 3/26/08, promoting his award-winning First Second book American Born Chinese. I arrived there with Mike Rhode just as Gene was arriving, so were able to get to him immediately and before other folks showed up, so he was happy to crank out this great Hulk drawing for me. The crowd picked up a bit, but died down towards the end, so I got something in my "Least Expected" sketchbook as well (go look there).
