This page is another example of the cast iron foundation (pun intended) that catapulted Marvel above its competitors. The rich dialogue, combined with the rich renderings of the great Gene Colan - and a money shot in that last panel - make this, like many of the other pages in your collection, extraordinarily desireable. Congrats on a sweet acquisition!

Wow! This is a truly classic Marvel page! I love the work of Gene Colan and Jack Abel here. Colan's mastery of compositon and anatomy are evident in every panel. He's aided by Jack Abel's brilliant inks, which take his art to another level. And not only does it have amazing art, it has dialogue that makes this page one of the Classic Scenes of Marvel Comics. That final panel--both in words and art--is perfect Marvel!
