This is the amazing Original Art for the Cover of STAR TREK: Early Voyages #4 (May 1997) published by Marvel Comics and Paramount Comics. This Cover was drawn by Patrick Zircher (pencils) and Greg Adams (inks). This short-lived comic book series ran for 17 issues and featured the adventures of Captain Christopher Pike and the original Enterprise crew from the first STAR TREK pilot episode "The Cage".
