Description
Marvel Tales 225 cover, by Todd McFarlane.

This issue reprints Amazing Spider-Man 90, "The Death of Captain Stacy." Todd created this moving image of Spider-Man mourning Captain Stacy's corpse in the rubble.

Note the number 3 in McFarlane's signature box. In many of his Spider-Man covers, he drew in a number of hidden spiders. See if you can find the 3 on this cover!

I just keep coming back to this cover almost everytime I check CAF. It's just so powerful. It may be the greatest Mcfarlane cover ever in terms of concept and emotion.
