A really great, abstract, atmospheric commission. I remember this episode very well. Before I ever saw Halloween or Escape From New York, I was introduced to Donald Pleasence in a VHS copy of this well-written installment of The Outer Limits. Very thematically similar to Forbidden Planet. Definitely made me think about all those irrational resentments and petty grievances that blow up to monumental proportions in our unconscious minds, and how devastating it can be when they are let loose. The Outer Limits really was an intelligent show, well ahead of its time.
