I got the chance to meet with Michael Broussard at the NYCC 'O8. He was not sketching in Artist Alley, but I saw him at the Top Cow booth, and jumped on him and asked for a sketch... and here is what he came up with !

As you might have noticed, I'm a big fan of Silvestri's work on the Darkness. That's why I immediately liked Michael's work on this title... and this pin-up was beyond all my expectancies.

I don't think he did many commissions that weekend (if any other) so I feel very lucky!!! Did I mention he is a really great and nice guy? No? well, he is! And it was a real pleasure meeting him in person!

Michael, if you ever read this: THANKS! I OWE YOU BIG TIME! ;)

damn thats so cool. I can hear u jean. broussard is def an excellent replacement of marc. best darkness work Ive seen since basaldua. great "sketch" !!!

Wow, I've met Broussard a few times, and gotten a few sketches, but never anything like that. Its a full on commission quality drawing. Treasure it man.
