Secret Invasion #1 Sketch Cover II - Dire Wraith

The Spaceknights' dreaded enemy and foul offshoot of the shape-changing Skrulls--a DIRE WRAITH! By Michael Golden, on the back cover of the blank "convention" variant to SECRET INVASION #1. After reading the first SI issue, I realized (as did many) just how similar the storyline was to that of Rom fighting the Dire Wraiths in the early to mid 1980s. Need I say more? Check out the piece on the front elsewhere in this folder! After both pieces were finished, as you can see I had the book CGC graded and slabbed. A 9.8, not too shabby!
