Don't forget that Bruno Premiani did an outstanding job of illustrating "The Conquest of Mexico" in the May 1960 issue of Classics Illustrated ( No. 156 ). An impressive artist with an incredible attention to historical details.

It's an amazing page full of details and a very good sense of drama. Having read quite a few of his Doom Patrol stories growing up, it's interesting to see Mr. Premiani's early art style.

What a pretty page! I especially like the handling of the horses, and the chiaroscuro effect in the scene through the forest is gorgeous! Premiani spotted his blacks extremely well throughout the entire, beautifully composed page.
