"Sarah & the Bird" - Reed Waller 1973

The EARLIEST Reed Waller piece on CAF, at least 5 years before he created Omaha the Cat Dancer. She didn't make her first appearance till 1978.

Reed has also supplied the following information about "Sarah & the Bird" via email on 28 July 2001; - "Wow... How on earth could you possibly know about them? They were characters in an unpublished strip I worked on back in 1973-1974

And here's some info about the actual history of this piece from the original owner:
"Yes, real Reed Waller, bought from him personally in the early 70's. He was a science fiction fan. I was at a convention there with my then-husband, SF artist Rick Sternbach."

Purchased off ebay way back in 2001.
