Description
1965 Ballantine Books version featuring the Barbara Remington covers ~ fans apparently put down the cover art as inaccurate to the story but I really enjoy the covers as a work of art, very eye-catching and appealing ~ if anyone has a print of this in great condition and wants to sell it, LET ME KNOW! Thanks.

they were very evocative pieces... definitely not meant to be LOTR litereal! i think their great as well!

I've got the same books from when I was a kid and first read LOTR. If something like a print of these ever surfaced I'd love to know as well.
