I just don't know where the time goes. I had this hardcover copy of The Greatest Golden Age Stories Ever Told signed back in 1995. I was able to catch Shelly Moldoff, Dick Sprang and Irwin Hasen at conventions, and sent the book to both Creig Flessel and Jack Burnley. Creig did the beautiful pen and brush drawing on the title. I've always gotten a chuckle out of his comment under the title.

Dude, now seriously, don't you already have ENOUGH Creig Flessel art? As well, doesn't this seem a bit, well, MAINSTREAM for you? I mean, really.. aren't you more about eclectica, as opposed to well, ... this? Shameful!

COMPLETELY unrelated to that last comment, this is a wonderful illustration. But still... Creig Flessel , enough already. And if anyone has some Classic Batman recreation covers by... well, Creig Flessel , or Sandman art by Creig Flessel , please let me know!

What a lovely inscribed volume with signatures and notes from some of the all-time greats as well as that lovely Sandman by the late Creig Flessel.
