Description
Here's the artist's own history of these pieces from his recent eBay auction:

Batman and Robin Sketches done by professional comic book artist, Andy Fish, currently working on BAT MAN 1939-- do a google search to find out more.

Last fall at the Boston Comic Con I was doing sketches like all the other artists there (Paul Ryan and Rob Stoll were sitting next to me). I was charging $85 a sketch for pieces that were fairly detailed and done with japanese brush ink and I had enough orders to keep me busy for the entire show.

Then there was this kid, and most of you in the Boston comic scene probably know him, really obnoxious and probably about 19 years old, he stands there and begs artists for sketches after telling them that he is their biggest fan, and that money is tight so we all get suckered into doing a piece for him that he then just throws on eBay.

SO, to get ready for him I did this pair of Batman and Robin drawings on roughly 6x9 backer boards (heavy acid free boards) and drawn completely with a brush with no pencil work-- these were meant to horrify him when he would undoubtably come back and ask for Batman sketches from me.

I finished these and put them on my table and collectors kept asking about them as they would walk by-- I even got several offers for them but I really wanted to stick it to this kid--

Karma being what it is, the kid never came back and I brought these back with me in my art bag and decided I may just as well throw them up for auction.

So here you go; a pair of cursed bad Karma Batman and Robin sketches suitable for framing or just jam a tack in 'em and stick 'em on the wall and rejoice in their ugliness!
