Description
My wife got me this for my 30th birthday. She even got my friends and family to chip in. The only glitch was that I had just purchased a Spider-man Steve McNiven cover. She thought that that would lessen the impact – which is so not true. It was, and still is, a pretty spectacular gift.

Probably my favorite page from the series. Especially fond of the expression on Supes face in the second panel. Congrats

It's a nice contemplative page and I like the dramatic effects Lee and Williams use on the closeup in the final panel.

Fabulous Jim Lee Superman page! I love how Jim Lee's art makes Superman seem more majestic, more mighty than other recent artists. Coupled with Scott Williams' crisp, sharp inks, the book took on a new look that seems more important somehow. The Lee/Williams team really raised Superman to new heights during their run, and I was glad to see it. A Superman deserves a super team.
