Description

Laurent David, who signs with Mig, studied at the �cole Sup�rieure d'Arts Appliqu�s et Textiles in Roubaix, where he got a degree in animation (1993), as well as communication (1995). He began his professional career at the art studios of Les �ditions Albert Ren�, where he did illustration work for 'Ast�rix' merchandise. David co-launched the fanzine The End in 1999. He met scenario-writer Herv� Richez at a festival, and together they began the 'Sam Lawry' series at Bamboo publishers. Again with Richez, he began the 'Le Messager' series in 2003. In addition, he worked at Philippe Harchy's atelier. There, he illustrated comics with 'Winnie the Pooh' for Winnie Lecture, as well as covers for Winnie Magazine.
