* The main character of the series, Arron Day, was actually based on a real life African American pilot / adventurer by the name of EUGENE BULLARD (1894
� 1961)

* At DC comics, Alex Simmons created another black super-hero named ORPHEUS...who was eventually killed during the BATMAN storyline, WAR GAMES.
