Description
The painted cover ( January 1957, artist unknown ) that replaced the original line-drawing cover by Malcolm Kildale from 1941. At the same time, the interior art by Edd Ashe and others was replaced by Norman Nodel. Thanks to Bill Jones for the information. This is my well-read copy of the first Danish edition from the late 1950s, found many years later in a second-hand shop.
