I consider this a commission from the beyond. Curt Swan passed away before I started collecting original art so I never thought I would have the change to own a commission by him. However Mitch recently put up this extraordinary piece and I was delighted to have the chance to snatch it up.

When I was a kid, Curt Swan defined Superman for me. If he wasn't drawn by Swan, he wasn't Superman. Nice piece.

He is my favorite. No other artists so far can "steal" Superman from him. Not only that, his Brainiac, Bizarro, Luthor, Parasite and Toy Man are also definitive.
