Velma Dinkely from "Scooby Doo" (manga style)

Done in Toronto, August 2003. Toronto's 2003 comic book convention was a bad one in artist alley. The majority of the artists that were to show up did not, including the mainstays that appear every year. I am not sure what the reason for that was but artist alley was bare. That year it proved to be rather difficult to get art from any established artists. It was this convention that I got a relativly unknown anime artist to do Velma Dinkley from Scoovy Doo. I must admit that I have a bit o a Velma fetish. Something about the bulky orange sweater, thick glasses, ren pleated skirt and orange knee socks. Yeah - I'm a nutter. Anyhow, I asked for a sexy Velma and got this fun piece. Sadly I never found out the artists name - which was a common problem that year.
