Here's another example of what a great artist can do outside of their normal comfort zone. Joe made this great Swamp Thing based on the new Vertigo issue # 13 (in case you're wondering why Swamp Thing looks so Sinister). Thanks Joe, and in case you're wondering the lettering says, "Alan Moore I love your stuff! Watchman was great! Joe Rubenstein Manitoba - East of Java"

Does anyone know what East of Java means?

It could simply be a reference to an old movie called KRAKATOA: EAST OF JAVA about the eruption of the volcano. (Weirdly, I think Krakatoa is WEST of Java.)
