**UPDATED 11-9-08** So, there has been a little drama and confusion regarding this piece after I received it.
When I got this in the mail and opened it, immediately I noticed that the piece was different from the piece that was advertised. While it look very similar, there were many differences. I contacted the seller and he seemed surprised too, so I contacted the artist. What happened was, the piece that was advertised was from Sunny's website and that is where Bryan pulled the image from. Sunny informed me that the piece I had purchased was indeed by him, but it was the initial rough draft that he did for a commission, and later finished it up at a show for Bryan.
Now, I'll keep my personal opinions about this situation to my self unless asked, but I do know that when I get this piece inked, I will ask the inker to make some modifications so that the original commissioner and and I have pieces that aren't exactly the same, it just doesn't seem fair to the person that originally commissioned the piece.
I was debating whether or not to put this in my Spider-Man gallery, but decided not to since it an homage to the great Jim Lee and his cover to Punisher War Journal #15. If you want to see the outstanding original, you can see it in Eric Delos Santos's collection.
I like this piece because it's not an exact recreation, but a tribute done to a legendary artist and a classic cover done in Sunny's style.
