Description
Here is the second version of the Godzilla commission by Al Rio. This time it's inked and if you view the pencil prelim you may notice some subtle differences between the inked commission. Godzilla now has a secondary row of fins on his back - as per all his films, and his right arm is shorter and more in proportion with his left arm. The next one posted will be the colorized version. :)

I like how Al put Gojira in the distance. Most pinups I've seen are closeups. That's more dramatic, perhaps, but this is more cinematic. (As a side not, it looks like he had some pretty good photo references. He also did fairly well trying to duplicate the kanji and kana on the buildings.)

Great job by Al Rio....the amount of detail alone is just crazy! Plus you have.........GODZILLA...King of all Monsters!!! Too cool! :)
