DescriptionA charming example of Edwina Dumm's wonderful humor, and pen & ink work. This daily, from May 11, 1934, features, in essence, two versions of Tippie. He started out as the smoother, bulldog-type canine; later being changed to the terrier that Edwina's work became known for. The terrier was found in Edwina's Life magazine feature "Sinbad", but was incorporated into the comic strip in the 1930s.Social/Sharing |
