Description

The Celestial Quest miniseries saw writer Steve Englehart's return to one of his classic creations, Mantis the Celestial Madonna. I got this page, since it has Mantis retelling part of her history, including her historic marriage to the Cotati Swordsman by Immortus, the birth of her son Quoi, and her later relationship with the Silver Surfer. Celestial Quest had some really nice artwork from Jorge Santamaria & Scott Hanna.

Oh, yeah, we also have a flashback of Mantis drinking coffee. So this one also ties in with my coffee art theme :)
