Description
...and nowit's THE END OF SECRET CRISIS!!! Had a good time at San Diego Comic Con this year. I got some great art deals, but once again, I said I was not going in 2009. And once again, I lied to myself. Already reserved a room at some convert "Y" hostel/brothel non-air conditioned fixer upper in downtown San Diego ('cuz once again, the hotel I stayed at last year raised their rates to $200.00+ for this year). Went to some other nice local conventions (getting ready to go to Chattacon in Chattanooga in two weeks...not Chattacon in San Diego like one of my less informed friends asked me). "Secret Invasion" started out high, but ended as a single big fight seen with a comercial for "Dark Reign". You could see where they were going with "Countdown to Final Crisis" and "Death of the New Gods", but it lost something in translation from idea to execution. "Final Crisis"....L...A...T...E, and so far disapointing. Hope springs anew this spring though if "Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds" will get back on schedule again, and the "Watchmen" movie gets out of legal limbo for the rocking spring break March release. "Secret Crisis" was the second part of my four year comic arts comedy project (the first being "The Neonboneyard" www.neonboneyard.com), along with my art sale site "www.grailpage.com", and my offshoot comic art search engine "www.pg23.com". We now get to the final part of this trilogy, with Page 23!!! Learn the myth's, the legend's, the behind the scenes stories, and all the plookie plot of the comic and comics art world starting January 2009 at "www.page23.com"!!! AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME (never thought I'd live so long)!!!

WOW ! I still remember that opening page by Starlin. A perfect piece of art that was like a shock and still is. Congrats !

Dramatic splash by Jim Starlin... and I so love your dialogue additions, here and on your other artwork. Too funny!
