About the author.
Karl Comendador is a Filipino artist, and the creator of 'Kamandang'. In the 1970s, he worked for Nestor Redondo's Ares Publications. There, he met Vic J. Poblete, with whom he has cooperated on several projects since. Together, they made among others 'Bandidos' (Atlas, 1977), 'Planeta ng Pitong Araw' (Affiliated Publications, 1980), 'Baniaga' (Ace Publications, 1981), and 'Natasha' (Pinoy Komiks, 1984) and 'Devil Car'.
