Description
Hulk by Doug Hazelwood - Aug 1995. Doug was giving me some grief about doing a Hulk sketch. At this time, he was knee deep into Superman an kept asking if I was sure I had the right strongman. I told him I did and he gave me my Hulk... but he DID give him a Superman curl!!!

Funny. I've asked artists to draw certain characters before -- even if they've never done them in published work -- just because I wanted to see their interpretation. Batman is my favorite. Usually they are happy to do it, but sometimes they aren't or hesitate like Hazelwood did. Never understood why though.

In recent years I would RATHER do Hulk face sketches since I practice drawing so infrequently. Loved doing Kirby Hulk faces in school in my notebook!!
