DescriptionIn the modern era, George Perez's name is synonymous with group books, and his best known and longest standing association has been with the Avengers. While opinions may differ about some of the Avengers featured in that memorable Kurt Busiek / George Perez reboot run, I always have and always will enjoy seeing as Avengers the big three who are nicely featured here. Special thanks to Jay Litzenberg for selling me this page.Social/Sharing |

While some purists may argue about the difference between vintage Perez and modern Perez, there's no denying his technical brilliance and craftsmanship. Whether the art is from 20 years ago or 2 years ago, George is a true master and that is evident with everything he puts on paper. Oh yeah, and as far as I'm concerned, the Big Three of Cap, Thor, and Iron Man ARE the Avengers. Everyone else is just coming off the bench!

To echo the other comments, not only is it an Avengers splash page penciled by Perez, but it has the "big three" on it. Definitely a fantastic piece of artwork. As a long-time Avengers fan myself, I enjoyed viewing this.
