DescriptionThis is a splash page introducing "Camille Pierpont", the heroine of a manga book (Japanese, English), Captain Nemo.It is a wonderful book drawn by upcoming Filipino artist Aldin Viray. I believe Aldin is currently doing a swords-and-sorcery project for Image. The blurb to the 150++-page comic book reads:The year is 1893. Under the iron grip of Napoleon IV, France has extended its tyrannical rule throughout the world, forging a vast Empire that rivals that of ancient Rome. Only one man stands in defiance against the Empire, roaming at will beneath the surface of the oceans: Young Captain Nemo and his ragtag crew aboard the Nautilus II. From my discussions with Aldin, a sequel was planned to this project, but the current status of the sequel is unknown. Aldin has done several preliminary inked pages for the sequel. Social/Sharing |
