DescriptionThis was an epic piece of proportions. One of the main reasons why I attended NY Comic Con 2009 was to finally meet my favorite artist of all time in J.Scott Campbell. He is the main reason why i read comics in the first place. Gen 13 is what made me love comics and it was his art. The first issue of Gen 13 with Fairchild on the front was epic. So like everyone else, i wanted him to sketch me something, but even if he couldnt, i would have been just as happy because even meeting him was great enough. So i wanted something unique and special to commemerate the day in meeting him and for the month that he was announced as a guest to the show i kept looking at my Zune. The back of it is a total blank canvas. So it dawned on me and i had to have it done by Jeff. So me and my cousin and his girlfriend show up to the Con at 7 am and waited in line. When it his 1pm, we darted to Jeff. We met him and greeted him as we were in total shock and awe. i couldnt miss this opporutnity so i asked if he could sketch the back of it and he agreed to it. I was about to break down. he did it and to me, this piece is my most special piece. No matter how many commisions i get, This piece holds a special place for me.Social/Sharing |

This is very cool!! Thanx for sharing the story, too! Half the fun on this 'site is reading the descriptions of the art itself. Congrats and thanx again!!
