I had originally purchased the art for this Spiderman/Red Sonja cover with my wife at the New York Comic-Con 2008 as a wedding present for ourselves. Michael Turner was going to personalize by adding our names and some other details to the art. Unfortunately Michael passed away and wasn't able to get to it.

I was glad to hear Aspen would be at the Con this year, 2009, and met up with Frank to say hi and pick up some art. I was completely surprised and floored to see what Frank and the guys at Aspen had done for my wife and I. The original art was taken and colored by Peter and all the title work and other details were also added on. All the guys at Aspen signed it and Michael's signature was digitally added on as well.

My wife and I will always be thankful to everyone at Aspen for taking the time to do this but especially to Frank who cared enough to go above and beyond for us. Thanks also to Peter for doing such a superb job on all the details and color. I wish all the best to everyone at Aspen and hope they continue to flourish as they should

This is such a gorgeous piece Alex - the guys at Aspen have always been some of the nicest in the industry but this is truly something unique. I hope you and your wife's marriage will continue to flourish as well as the continued efforts of those that are carrying Mikes torch back at the Aspen office.
