King Dane's place had been taken over by Mai Shen. After Ethan discovered the ruse and killed her, he and his siblings searched for their father. They finally found him in a remote village with no memory of who he was. This page shows King Dane voicing his doubts about his ability to govern to his wife, Queen Mariella. This is a quiet page but very beautiful, another prime example of Jim Cheung's great talent. (NYCC 2009/02)
