Description

It was around 1982, just before his death, that Hergé realized this project destined to the fresco of the Stockel underground station in Brussels.
This work appears to us as a legacy of the artist, by showing about 140 characters full of vitality and humor, coming from the 22 comic books. Hergé will never see the fresco of 2 x 135 meters long, finished mainly by Bob de Moor.

The 135 metres mural of the Stockel metro station has meanwhile opened in 1988, from studio work on sketches of Hergé shortly before his death".

I didn't enjoy Flight 714 so much when I read it as a kid, but when I reread it as later, I enjoyed it more and more - has to be one of my top 3 tintin stories. Great image from a classic Tintin adventure.
