Seymour Chwast - Fan Drawing

Fast forward a few years. My office in my old house was the victim of a roof leak, caused by a faulty chimney chase. Luckily, no artwork was damaged, but the leak was right over one of my bookcases. Of course, it was the case that held my signed books. I lost two of the books to damage. One was the Chwast book and the other was my Bill Peet signed book. Luckily, the artwork and signatures in both books were spared. As much as I hated to do it, I sliced the signed pages out of the books and tossed the books. I'm just glad the originals were safe.
