This Bronze Age Star Wars piece by Michael Golden was buried in a collection for a long time until it recently surfaced. According to a source very familiar with Golden’s work, this piece was most likely a warm up done prior to his Star Wars “Riders in the Void” inventory issue that got published in 1980. Golden did the pencil and inking on this drawing.

UPDATE: I showed this piece to Mr. Golden in person and he seems to think the stormtroopers and Han Solo & Chewy were used separately for a magazine or fanzine. Please get in touch if anyone has any information about the publication of this artwork.
