I first met
Terry Dodson when he was a guest at WonderCon in 2001. At the time, he was drawing the Harley Quinn comic. I liked the Paul Dini and Bruce Timm character so I was reading the comic. I was too late to sign up on the sketch list, but Terry did a nice headshot for me on Sunday. On that first day, while a crowd swarmed around the booth to buy Harley Quinn pages, I remember inker Rachel sitting in the back of the booth studying an Italian book. It left a good impression on me. Later that year, I got the full-figure Harley in San Diego. On the
Terry Dodson yahoo group, Terry posts his latest art offerings and I picked up the three page Black Cat sequence in 2006. It was a pleasant surprise to see Terry doing work for the French album
Songes: Coraline. I love seeing the heroine in her period costumes. My brother offers the French language album and the French sketchbook at his
Stuart Ng Books. At San Diego, we often send customers over to Terry at his booth and he sends fans who don't know about
Songes over to Stuart.
