Betty Grail Surprise

This is the best of the pin ups that appeared in Giant Series #26, Betty and Veronica Spectacular. The Veronica Cheerleader Grail on this gallery tells the story of how this all-pin up issue got me my start with pin ups and original comic art. In it, I related how I had lost two previously offered pieces. The winner of this one turned out to be a good samaritan and was so touched by my story that he sold it to me. So, now I have this, the best piece in the entire issue, a real dream come true. Viewing it in person, up close and with a back light is revealing. For instance, Betty originally had a bigger chest as shown by heavy ink erasure adjacent to her bust. She also showed...ahem...tush cleavage which was both erased and whitened out. In fact, Betty went through several little adjustments. In contrast, Jughead was just drawn in one fell swoop.
