Description
This was supposed to be page 15 of the Zatanna special by the legendary Gray Morrow. His widow, Pocho Morrow confirms that it was rejected much to Gray's annoyance, we don't know why. The very top, which contains dialogue about Zatann's relationship with Jeff, cannot be scanned without folding the special effects overlay which is attached to the top.

Not sure if it means anything, but it appears that Z's boots are missing in the last panel, as compared to the panel before.

You're right. Maybe she had the demon send the boots along with him so he'd have something to remember her by.
