21.75x25.25" frame contains art that has been triple-matted to 13x16.5". Done in mixed media by Captain America's co-creator Joe Simon, piece shows Captain America in his Golden Age costume, with open-face mask. Captain America also carries his Golden Age triangular shield. Text below art reads "This Is My Re-Creation Of A 1939 Proposal For A New Superhero. Today, In The 21st Century, He Still Stands Tall, Proud And Strong -- As Noble As The Nation He Was Named For! Joe Simon." Done in the early 1990s.

Fantastic! Mr. Simon was the first person to ever draw Cap....and he drew him exactly as shown here. I love it.
