Looking at that last panel I can hear the crowd thunder in my ears. No one did sound in a silent medium as well as Dave Sim. Great page!

Storytelling, lettering, inks, EVERYTHING in this page works togheter perfectly, conveying the roar of the crowd - it's like if the page had a volume control. I would rather said, anyway, that what Mr. Sim really mastered was not just sound, but volume (because, for instance, he was great with silence panels, too). Basically: total command of the page, like nobody else before or after him.
